An interesting find

A Scythian tulip (Tulipa scythica Klokov et Zoz.), a perennial plant of the lily family, was found on the territory of the Samarskaya Luka National Park.

It was discovered by V. Vasyukov, a researcher at the Institute of Ecology of the Volga Basin of the Russian Academy of Sciences, on Molodetsky Kurgan during an excursion, which the National Park organized for the participants of the VII All-Russian Youth Scientific Conference "Actual Problems of the Volga Basin Ecology".
